About GMarie GMarie is a seasoned Hair Colorist and hair care specialist with over four decades of experience. She is renowned for her dedication to providing exceptional care for her clients in the salon. As a technical expert for Joico, GMarie has showcased her skills by coloring models at the NY International Beauty Show and has traveled the East Coast, offering enlightening hair color classes and product knowledge to help salons enhance their expertise and support healthy color-treated hair. Her impressive career also includes serving as a Lead Hair Stylist for stage performances at Howard University and the University of Maryland, where she brought to life historical looks from the Great Depression and the French Baroque periods. As an Assistant Hair Stylist, GMarie contributed her talents to the Emmy-nominated HBO series “VEEP” with contemporary styles and the AMC series “TURN” with meticulous period work. As a former beauty school owner, GMarie has profoundly impacted countless students, sharing her passion and knowledge in the field of Cosmetology. She has also excelled in managing both corporate and private salons, helping them surpass their goals and guiding stylists toward their personal and financial success. GMarie's commitment to community is evident in her support for victims of domestic violence. She has actively participated in the Walk Against Domestic Violence in PG County and inspires her students to engage in causes they care about. Currently, GMarie shares her expertise on her show “The HairKytchen” on Bowie TV and YouTube.
